Walk down High Road and read the fronts. Almost every barber here sells you a haircut. Ours says haircut, hot towel shave, facial, waxing and threading, and the shave is the one people are most surprised to find in Beeston rather than in town.
If you have never had one, it is a razor shave with hot towels either side of it, and your face feels different for two days afterwards. Come on a weekday if you want the shop quiet.
